Toyota Motor Philippines is offering three payment schemes and cash discounts on select vehicles from March 11 to 31, 2026, coinciding with the start of the 2026 TGR Philippine Cup race season.

The company announced what it calls “flexible payment options” aimed at buyers with different budget preferences, including low down payment plans, reduced monthly amortizations, and straight cash discounts.

Under the “Pay Low” option, customers can avail of an all-in package with a 15 percent down payment on participating models. The package includes 60-month financing terms, one-year comprehensive insurance, three-year LTO registration, and no chattel mortgage fee under select finance lease arrangements. For example, the ATIV 1.5 HEV CVT in two-tone is available starting at PHP 179,700 under this option.

The “Pay Light” option offers lower monthly amortization over a 60-month term. The Toyota Yaris Cross 1.5 S HEV CVT in two-tone is available starting at PHP 15,504 per month under this plan.

For outright purchases, the “Straight Cash” option provides cash discounts that vary by model. The Toyota RAV4 2.5 LTD HEV, for instance, comes with a discount of up to PHP 300,000 for cash buyers.

Other hybrid models with promotions this month include the Corolla Cross 1.8 GR-S CVT 2T, available under Pay Light at PHP 18,225 per month or with a PHP 140,000 cash discount, and the Zenix 2.0 Q HEV CVT, available at PHP 19,336 per month or with a PHP 100,000 cash discount.

The company also announced additional offers, including free periodic maintenance service for selected models, service discount vouchers, trade-in rebates of up to PHP 30,000, one-year comprehensive insurance for select models, and a five-year warranty for all new vehicles.

The promotions are available on select Toyota models within the promo period, subject to terms, credit approval, and model availability. Toyota has published full mechanics and a list of participating models on its website.

Mazda CX-8: Quiet moment on the road matters for moms juggling it all

Mazda posted a video feautring Bianca King as CX-8 offers moms space, comfort, and ease.

Mazda Philippines, on May 6, posted a video of actress Bianca King as part of its Mother’s Day message. The video highlights the idea that for mothers who drive the Mazda CX-8, the vehicle offers space, comfort, and a ride that doesn’t demand constant attention.

The video captures how motherhood is rarely picture-perfect. There are beautiful days, there are overwhelming ones, and there are those moments when you’re folding laundry while helping with homework, planning dinner while stuck in traffic, and struggling to remember the last time you had five minutes to yourself.

In between daily routines, school runs, weekend errands, and the occasional quiet drive alone, finding balance isn’t just nice to have. It matters.

For some mothers, that’s enough. Less noise behind the wheel means more room to be present, not just for the kids in the backseat, but for themselves.

“To every mom showing up with love every single day, Happy Mother’s Day,” Mazda Philippines wrote.

No grand claims. Just an acknowledgment that the daily drive, much like motherhood itself, goes a little better when it’s not a struggle.
