Isuzu PH showcases Challenge Racing Truck and D-MAX EV at Bangkok Motor Show.
Isuzu Philippines Corporation brought members of the Philippine motoring media and influencer community to the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show, where the company showcased its Challenge Racing Truck and the D-MAX EV.
The Isuzu Challenge Racing Truck is a high-performance prototype developed for the upcoming Isuzu Challenge Thailand 2026 racing series.

Built on the D-MAX platform, the truck features a 2.2 Ddi MAXFORCE engine with higher output than the production version, along with race-spec components, advanced suspension, aerodynamic enhancements, and an integrated telemetry system.
Isuzu also presented the D-MAX EV, a fully electric pickup developed from Isuzu’s Thailand production base for international markets. It represents Isuzu’s first electric pickup model for export.
Isuzu Philippines President Mikio Tsukui said the racing truck reflects how the company continues to challenge itself to enhance its core technologies.
“Through this initiative, we are able to give our Philippine media partners a clearer view of Isuzu’s global direction, not only in terms of future mobility solutions, but also in performance-driven engineering,” Tsukui said.
He added that developments such as the D-MAX EV demonstrate the company’s commitment to supporting the industry’s transition toward more sustainable mobility solutions while remaining responsive to the requirements of each market.
The company also displayed its latest production models, including the D-MAX pickup and mu-X SUV, along with customized vehicles focused on lifestyle-oriented mobility.

The visit to the motor show included product briefings and experiential activities for media and influencers to gain hands-on insights into the vehicles’ performance and features, according to Isuzu Philippines.

Mazda CX-8: Quiet moment on the road matters for moms juggling it all
Mazda posted a video feautring Bianca King as CX-8 offers moms space, comfort, and ease.
Mazda Philippines, on May 6, posted a video of actress Bianca King as part of its Mother’s Day message. The video highlights the idea that for mothers who drive the Mazda CX-8, the vehicle offers space, comfort, and a ride that doesn’t demand constant attention.
The video captures how motherhood is rarely picture-perfect. There are beautiful days, there are overwhelming ones, and there are those moments when you’re folding laundry while helping with homework, planning dinner while stuck in traffic, and struggling to remember the last time you had five minutes to yourself.
In between daily routines, school runs, weekend errands, and the occasional quiet drive alone, finding balance isn’t just nice to have. It matters.
For some mothers, that’s enough. Less noise behind the wheel means more room to be present, not just for the kids in the backseat, but for themselves.
“To every mom showing up with love every single day, Happy Mother’s Day,” Mazda Philippines wrote.
No grand claims. Just an acknowledgment that the daily drive, much like motherhood itself, goes a little better when it’s not a struggle.
